WebNov 22, 2015 · The 97 was a super nice gun, of course, but when the Ruger flattop 44spl came out, I stopped shooting the 97. I quickly ended up with both a Ruger stainless and blue 4 5/8" and a blue 5.5" Flattop 44spls.
