WebAgreed, it can be frustrating. AI has to be able to refuse to join wars that are against its interest, and going to war when already financially struggling is a good one. The player can always just refuse a call to arms for whatever reason, the AI can't and has to have strict rules around it so there has to be some level of debt where they refuse. WebThat is how coalition wars were dealth with in real life. The only issue is, war support has no effect on eu4. Like not at all. In real life, one stack wipe (that is, decisive defeat with most army being prisoned) would mean the other side capitulates.
